Pliezhausen, June 09, 2026 - DATAGROUP subsidiary Almato AG acquires Aristech GmbH and extends its AI-powered semantic data platform Bardioc with conversational AI for voice, email, chat and AI agents. The goal is to create a sovereign European AI stack for semantic intelligence and automated interaction based on European data protection and security standards.
With the acquisition, Almato is bundling its expertise in semantic data integration and explainable reasoning with Aristech's AI-based language technologies. The solutions enable companies to use AI securely and in compliance with GDPR in data-intensive and regulated environments.

The transaction was closed on May 21, 2026. Aristech will remain a standalone brand and retain its location and existing management.
