Pliezhausen, June 27, 2019. Bernd Krakau, Chief Representative Portfolio & Digital of DATAGROUP, has been elected to the Board of the German Cloud Industry Association, EuroCloud Deutschland_eco e.V.
The board was re-elected at this year’s general meeting of the German Association for the Cloud Computing Industry in Cologne. The previous members Thomas von Bülow and Markus Stahl did not stand for re-election. Thomas Noglik and Bernd Krakau, General Representative Portfolio and Digital at DATAGROUP, were newly elected to the board.
EuroCloud Deutschland_eco e.V. was founded ten years ago and has since been committed to the acceptance and the provision of cloud services in Germany. As an experienced cloud provider, DATAGROUP is now working with Bernd Krakau on the board of this association to promote the dissemination of cloud services in Germany and brings extensive managed hosting and managed services expertise to the association.
Cloud services are becoming increasingly important for businesses. New digital business models require well-equipped data centers and constant availability, a feat that not all companies can or want to handle internally. As a full-service IT provider DATAGROUP has extensive cloud experience, both in operation and consulting, as well as migration to the cloud and the optimization of applications for the cloud.
“At DATAGROUP, we see every day how important cloud services are for our customers. The EuroCloud Deutschland_eco e.V plays a key role in successfully promoting the framework parameters for the further expansion of the cloud infrastructure in Germany. I am very pleased to be able to support these goals in the future as a member of the Executive Board, “explains Bernd Krakau.
