Andreas Baresel

Andreas Baresel has been the CEO of DATAGROUP SE since March 2022. Before, he was a member of the Management Board since October 2018. He is responsible for Finance, Legal, M&A and Investor Relations as well as the service portfolio.

Following his studies in business administration, Andreas Baresel worked in several management positions with a focus on business and portfolio development in IT consulting and managed IT services.

Andreas Baresel joined the company in 2012 in connection with the acquisition of DATAGROUP Business Solutions GmbH (previously Consinto GmbH).

Mark Schäfer

Mark Schäfer has been Chief Production Officer since February 2025 and is responsible for the provision and operation of IT services as well as central IT governance, risk and compliance management.

Mark Schäfer has over 25 years of experience in the Managed Service Provider business in different responsibilities, also at T-Systems International amongst others. He joined the company in 2019, was Chief Information Security Officer and took responsibility of the internal IT Services.

Mark Schäfer graduated in electrical engineering (Dipl. Ingenieur Elektrotechnik (Univ)) at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1997 and studied at the INSEAD Business School, at the IMD in Lausanne and the Cardiff University Prifysgol Caerdydd.

Alexandra Mülders

Alexandra Mülders has been Divisional Director at DATAGROUP SE since October 2023 and is responsible for Sales.

Her task is the overall management and coordination of all sales-related activities within the Group.

Alexandra Mülders joined the company in 2010 in connection with the acquisition of the then arxes Gmbh. She had already been responsible for Sales at arxes GmbH since 2001. Alexandra Mülders has been Managing Director of DATAGROUP Köln GmbH since 2010 and, at the same time, was also Managing Director of DATAGROUP BIT Düsseldorf GmbH for 3 years.

Over the many different stages in her career, she has held management positions within the sales division of IT companies from the very beginning.

Gerhard Kaminski

Gerhard Kaminski has been Divisional Director HR at DATAGROUP SE since February 2025 and Managing Director of DATAGROUP Ulm since July 2023.

Gerhard Kaminski studied computer science, then worked as CIO in an internationally operating industrial engineering company and for the last 22 years at a leading building materials manufacturer. As a member of the management board, he was responsible for human resources, information technology, corporate communications and internal auditing.

In addition, Gerhard Kaminski has held advisory board mandates, functions in employers’ associations and is an honorary judge at the labor court.

Max H.-H. Schaber

Max H.-H. Schaber is Managing Partner of HHS Verwaltungs GmbH and founder of DATAGROUP SE, where he was Chief Executive Officer from 2006 until 2022. In 1983, Max H.-H. Schaber established DATAPEC, Gesellschaft für Datenverarbeitung mbH which later became DATAGROUP. In 1981, he completed his studies in mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and as a chartered engineer (Diplom-Ingenieur (FH)) at the polytechnics in Augsburg and Reutlingen. Additionally, Max H.-H. Schaber is working for several companies as a serial entrepreneur.

Laura Schröder-Arzner

Laura Schröder-Arzner was born on 24 June 1985 in Koblenz and holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. She began her professional career in 2011 in private equity at 3i Group in Frankfurt am Main. In 2013, she joined Advent International, where she worked in private equity until 2021, focusing primarily on investments in the industrial and consumer goods sectors. Since 2021, Ms. Schröder has been a member of KKR’s Private Equity team in Frankfurt am Main. As Managing Director, she leads investments in the German-speaking region with a particular focus on the technology and services sectors. In this capacity, she is responsible for KKR’s investments in Contabo and DATAGROUP.

Hubert Deutsch

Hubert Deutsch worked for approximately 19 years in various companies of the Liebherr Group as CFO, both in Germany and internationally, including roles as Managing Director in the household appliances industry and as Division Managing Director in the construction machinery sector. Until 2022, he served as CEO of Feinguss‑Blank GmbH, where he held executive responsibility for up to 1,000 employees and revenues of over €100 million. He currently serves as CEO of the Cteam SE Group, with executive responsibility for up to 2,000 employees and revenues exceeding €750 million.

Rolf Buch

Rolf Buch began his career after completing an apprenticeship as a bank clerk and studying mechanical engineering and business administration, initially working as Assistant to the Management Board at Bertelsmann Distribution GmbH in Gütersloh. In 1996, he was appointed Managing Director of Bertelsmann Services France and, in 2002, became a member of the Management Board of arvato AG. In 2008, he was appointed Chair of the Management Board of arvato AG and became a member of the Executive Board of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. In 2013, he was appointed Chair of the Management Board (CEO) of today’s Vonovia SE. Following his appointment, Rolf Buch led Vonovia to a successful IPO. In 2015, Vonovia SE was included in the German blue-chip index DAX 30 (now DAX 40) and has since become Europe’s largest residential real estate company. At the end of 2025, Rolf Buch stepped down from the Management Board. Since 2025, he has been serving as an Executive Advisor at KKR and is a member of various supervisory and advisory boards. He is Vice President of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA) and the German Association for Housing, Urban and Spatial Development, as well as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the “Lebendige Stadt” Foundation.

Chresten Knaff

Chresten Knaff has been a member of KKR’s Private Equity team since 2014 and, as Managing Director, is responsible for investments in European technology companies. He supports a number of KKR investments, including DATAGROUP, Accountor Software, Exact, apexanalytix and Infios, and serves on various supervisory and advisory boards. Prior to joining KKR, Chresten Knaff worked in private equity at The Blackstone Group.

Klaus Hardy Mühleck

After studying process automation and information technology at the University of Stuttgart, Klaus Hardy Mühleck began his career at Siemens, where he was responsible for shop floor and IoT programs at production facilities of Mercedes, Audi and Volkswagen for five years. In 1986, he joined Daimler as an IT Manager in Stuttgart. Over the course of 14 years, he held several top management positions, most recently serving as CIO Automotive and Senior Vice President, responsible worldwide for IT, process integration and organizational development for Mercedes and Chrysler passenger cars as well as Daimler Trucks. He subsequently joined the Volkswagen Group, initially as CIO of the Audi Group and later as CIO of the Group headquarters and a member of Group Management, with responsibility for organizational development, process integration and IT. In 2012, he moved to ThyssenKrupp as CIO to support the company’s stabilization. In 2016, he was appointed to the German Federal Ministry of Defence, where he served as CIO and Director General, building up the cyber and IT structures and reorganizing IT services as Chair of the Supervisory Board of BWI GmbH. Today, Klaus Hardy Mühleck is a member and Chair of several advisory boards on digitalization in Germany and advises both federal and state governments on AI and cyber security topics.
