After a Covid-19 break of 1.5 years, CloudFest will be held in person at Europe’s largest theme park in Rust, Germany, from 22 to 24 March. CloudFest is a unique combination of business, networking, and information and has developed into the world’s largest set of events in the hosting and cloud industries over the years. With over 7,000 attendees from over 85 different countries, the event in Rust is one of the most important trade fairs with a high density of experts.

As the future CEO and the person in charge of production and portfolio management, Andreas Baresel does not only set the sails – it is him who decides about the best equipment for himself and his companions to master the uncertainties of the expedition. Andreas Baresel has been a member of the Management Board of DATAGROUP since 2018 and will take the chair of the Board from 10 March 2022. With his expertise and his visions, he will lead DATAGROUP and its customers on the route to the digital future together with his board colleagues.
As a senior IT consultant with many years of experience in on premises and cloud infrastructures, Frederik Schmidt does not only give advice on technology topics but also on fundamental changes which come along with a cloud expedition. He is our guide in preparing you for this journey, making plans and ensuring you reach the target safely, especially when it comes to the efficient use of cloud technologies, cloud strategy and the changes for people and business.
Michael Martin has made trips to the deserts and polar regions of the globe for 35 years. He went on expeditions to the North and South Pole but is also extremely familiar with other parts of the Arctic and Antarctic. Together with DATAGROUP, he will talk about one of his most difficult expeditions at CloudFest. Michael Martin is a photographer, geographer, and author of over 30 books, he gave more than 2,000 lectures and his films have been regularly featured on TV.
