Without fully functional IT, nothing works in everyday digital office life. In order to avoid getting into a situation with IT worries and to have smoothly functioning IT systems at hand at all times, EVC Rheinland GmbH has commissioned DATAGROUP to provide comprehensive IT support for the locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg. DATAGROUP has been supporting the German licensee of the global provider of real estate services in the premium segment Engel & Völkers with a professional IT service desk for several years.
Full outsourcing: external IT department
EVC Rheinland, which has offices in Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen, Wuppertal, Krefeld, Mönchen-Gladbach, Mühlheim a. d. Ruhr, Stuttgart and Frankfurt (Main), has decided to outsource all relevant tasks to DATAGROUP. With the exception of the web-based broker software OnOffice and the Google Workspace specified by the licensor, all tasks are carried out by DATAGROUP employees on site or remotely. This also includes the provision and management of hardware components(client management). In addition to the provision of managed servers and backup services, DATAGROUP is also responsible for telephony via NFON and its connection to OnOffice and Microsoft Teams.
Digital data rooms for uncomplicated real estate brokerage
To put it simply, real estate brokerage involves a lot of paperwork. The digitization of these processes enables all parties involved in a real estate transaction to handle the property transfer quickly and easily. All property-related documents are stored in digital data rooms and can be viewed there by all parties involved. DATAGROUP makes these data rooms available via Brainloop and Citrix ShareFile and takes care of certified secure documentation and archiving after the project is completed, so that the data is securely stored for any audits and can no longer be changed.
Teamwork at eye level
The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for all employees at the affiliated EVC Rheinland locations. Here they get answers to their questions and can easily report IT problems. The DATAGROUP experts also train new employees in the technology and are therefore an important part of the EVC Rheinland team right from the start.
Flexibility for customer requirements
DATAGROUP's versatility is evident in the support provided to EVC Rheinland, as the customer's needs changed significantly during the term of the contract. EVC scaled its requirements within DATAGROUP and also uses the DATAGROUP portfolio optimally for its needs over a longer term.
