DATAGROUP Bikers Day

At the DATAGROUP Bikers Day almost 500 cyclists pedaled for a good cause. The day was made possible by the voluntary commitment of DATAGROUP employees and members of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Tübingen. Sponsors included regional partners such as the AOK Neckar-Alb, Reutlinger General-Anzeiger, AlbGold, Fahrrad Sauer, the outdoor navigation experts Magic Maps and the ADFC Bicycle Club.

All proceeds from the DATAGROUP Biker’s Day were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Regional Group of Reutlingen/ Tübingen/ Zollernalb, which supports the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Outpatient Clinic at the Tubingen University Children’s Hospital where children, adolescents and young adults in medical, therapeutic and psychosocial care are looked after. The financial support from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation allows the children’s hospital to cater specifically to patient’s needs.

„Pedaling for a good cause to help the sick – this is the motto for Biker’s Day in Pliezhausen, organized by the local IT company, DataGroup with the support of several regional partners. For the 6th time this event was a tremendous success with 450 children, adolescents, men and women pedaling one of the of 13 or 22 km routes.“
