This year, DATAGROUP awarded a prize to the two best master theses. Last year, the company sponsored the award for the best IT project.

“As an IT company, we are very aware of the importance of skilled graduates. That is why we are happy to reward the incredible work that these students have put into their master theses,” explains Helge Viehof, Managing Director of DATAGROUP in Mainz, who also officially presented the award, each worth 500 euros.

The award this year went to Matthias Frisch and Tobias Hoffelder, who successfully completed their Master’s degree in IT Management. Matthias Frisch wrote about “Prototypical Implementation of Automated Processing of Semi-Structured Long-Term Supplier Declariations Through RPA” and Tobias Hoffeld about “The Development of a Method for Industrial Companies to Support Big-Data-Technology Selection to Build a Data Lake in the Cloud”.

The topics are a perfect match for the broad range of IT services DATAGROUP offers, which include Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Cloud solutions.

We congratulate both winners on their great work and look forward to further cooperation with the University of Mainz.
