Our Application Process

1. Submitting Your Application:
First, you can easily apply using our recruiting tool or send a speculative application via email (bewerbung-bremen@datagroup.de). As soon as we receive your application materials, we’ll review them right away and get back to you as soon as possible.
2. Video call:
If your application is successful, we’ll invite you to a video call so we can get to know each other. A colleague from our recruiting team will warmly welcome you. During the call, we’ll discuss initial technical topics as well as the key details relevant to the job, and we look forward to an open conversation—feel free to ask any questions you may have. Please set aside about 60 minutes for the call.
3. In-Person Meeting:
In the second step, we’d like to get to know you in person. To do so, we’ll invite you to our office at the Technology Park in Bremen. You’ll have the interview with our recruiter and your future manager. It’s important to us to delve deeper into the technical topics and ensure that your expectations align with our company culture. You’ll also have the chance to get a feel for the office, your future workplace, and the people at DATAGROUP in Bremen. This in-person meeting lasts about 60 minutes.
4. Finalizing the application process:
If all previous steps have been successful by this point, we look forward to extending a concrete job offer to you.

Training new IT professionals is essential to us. For many years now, several trainees have been starting their apprenticeships at DATAGROUP in Bremen every year. During your training as an IT Systems Management Specialist, you’ll rotate through various departments to gain the best possible insight into the IT field. Starting on day one, a trainee buddy from a higher year of training will be there to help you with any questions. Our trainees are an integral part of the DATAGROUP team—they take on more and more independent responsibilities each year. Our approach has proven successful: Many of our former trainees are now team leaders and/or manage large client projects. Our managing directors, Kai-Ole Kirsten and Jan-Hendrik, also began their careers as trainees at DATAGROUP in Bremen.
