Relieving the HR department with SAP HCM

The automation of administrative HR processes with SAP HCM (SAP Human Capital Management) reduces the workload of HR departments in particular. Back in 2015, a medium-sized production company decided to take a step towards digitalization and thus to do away with manual work processes for payroll and travel expense accounting as well as time recording - with the support of DATAGROUP. The resulting advantage for the company? An all-encompassing overview and time savings, as the digitalized processes free up valuable time for employees, which they can then use for other important activities within the HR department.

For more than seven years, the company has relied on SAP HCM and thus also on DATAGROUP as a service partner. Starting with the successful implementation of the new system, DATAGROUP has been supporting the SME on an ongoing basis ever since. The service includes regular changes for optimization - be it for better user-friendliness or based on legal requirements. During the support period, there were also a total of four different company takeovers for which DATAGROUP also supported the "carve-in" into SAP HCM.

Due to a standardization of the payroll tools within the group, one subsidiary changed its software. DATAGROUP also assisted the SME in this decision and successfully supported the "carve out" of the employees' personal data.
